Greg Mann
When new MWP Greg was younger he was known as The Gregorian! He thinks the big issue is helping people with learning disabilities get their voice heard. "Notice my difference - but treat me the same as everyone else." Laura Gill
Laura is Chair of the MWPs meetings. She joined the People's Parliament "So I can speak up for people." Her favourite animal is dolphins. We asked her what life will be like in 20 years - "No more wars!" |
Jessica Hiles
Jess thinks the big topics for adults with learning disability are Health and Independent Living. Her nickname when she was younger was 'Jesso'. If she won a million pounds, Jess would buy a house! Jess and her mum, Jo, have written a story book. 'Jess the Goth Fairy' is all about a fairy whose wings don't work. It is a colourful way of showing that everybody counts and disabilities are not a barrier to happiness or excitement. |
David Joyner
David has just moved to Worcestershire. He was a member of the People's Parliament in Sandwell before he came. He thinks the big issue is giving people with learning disabilities the opportunity to get work. His dream dinner part guest would be the Prime Minister! Sam Sinderberry
Sam is vice chair of the Malvern Comet Group. He is also an Expert Member on the Learning Disability Partnership Board. |
